 “Blutweisse” (Bloodweisse) or like it say´s on the label: Spelt red Weissbier with strong Banana flavor.

 -Only brewed at bloodmoon from esoteric Werwolf´s with a gluten intolerance-
Color: red/brown, or like very dark copper but very clear for a Weissbier
Nose: malty, roasted flavor and Banana
First Sip: a little malty, stronger roasted flavor or is it the spelt? Oh yes it is spelt. I just had my finger a few times in spelt flour :-D
In the mouth: creamy, little sweetness, Banana as much as it say´s on the bottle label. I found it in somehow aromatic and balanced. And somehow different to other Weissbier. My Girlfriend ask me if I would buy that beer again and I said yes because it is different.
At the end: very little hop note but well integrated, also a nice sweetness which is now stronger than before. Indeed there is this spelt flavor with the sweetness which stay for quiet some time.

Conclusion: I think this beer goes well with cigars but definitely with the Villiger 1888. The beer has not much hop or too much banana. The beer is round and different. Worth a try

Villiger “1888”
A nice medium body cigar. Starts off with earthy and nutty notes, than you get some sweetness and pepper and also I found it creamy to this point. The last third it gets stonger with some roasted flavor but still nice. I would say a cigar that you can smoke as a day cigar. I liked it. Filler: Dominican Republic and Nicaracua. Binder: Mexico. Wrapper: Ecuador

Villiger „1888“ im neuen roten Designe

„Blutweisse“ oder wie besagt es das Etikett: Dinkelrotes Weißbier mit kräftigen Bananenaromen

 -Wird nur bei Blutmond von esoterischen Werwölfen mit Glutenunverträglichkeit gebraut- :-D

Farbe: rotbraun, irgendwie wie sehr dunkles Kupfer, sehr klar für ein Weißbier
Nase: malz, Röstaromen und Banane J
Antrunk: leicht malzig, kräftigere Röstaromen oder ist es Dinkel? Ja es ist tatsächlich Dinkel hab den Finger gerade in mehrmals ins Dinkelmehl gesteckt. J
Am Gaumen: cremig, leichte süße, Banane aber nicht so viel wie auf der Flasche steht. Ich finde es sogar leicht würzig, ausgewogen und rund. Und irgendwie anders. Meine Freundin fragte, ob ich es wieder kaufen würde und ich sagte ja. Weil es anders ist.
Abgang: leichter Hopfen aber sehr gut eingebunden, dazu die leichte süße die ich jetzt sogar etwas kräftiger finde. Tatsächlich bleibt dieser für mich neue Dinkel Geschmack gepaart mit der süße lange auf der Zunge.

Fazit: Ein Bier das sehr gut zu einer Zigarre passt. Besonders gut auch zur Villiger 1888. Es ist weder zu Hopfen lastig noch zu Bananen lastig. Es ist anders und lecker.

Villiger „1888“
 Eine schöne mittel kräftige Zigarre. Sie startet schon mit erdigen und nussigen Tönen, dann kommt süße hinzu und etwas Pfeffer bis hierhin auch cremig. Später dann wird Sie etwas kräftiger mehr Röstaromen. Eine gute Zigarre die man jederzeit rauchen kann. Mir hat Sie sehr gut geschmeckt. Filler: Dominican Republic and Nicaracua. Binder: Mexico. Wrapper: Ecuador
