The Black Sheep is an Irish Stout.
Color: Black. If you hold it against the light it has some brown reflexes.
Nose: malty sweet and some 90% chocolate notes, nearly like an Espresso
First Sip: less malty sweetness more roasted notes, and a nice hop bitterness
Mouth: it get´s a little dry, a mix from strong coffee and espresso with some 90% chocolate. Nice roasted Notes. Tart but not to bitter. A little sour touch. Pleasant!
At the End: distinct roasted notes with roasted bitterness. A little sourness. More Bitterness as it has with the first sip.
Conclusion: A Nice Stout which is more on the dry side with nice espresso and very dark chocolate notes. Strong on the roasted side. I liked it a lot and it wouldn´t be my last.
Does it goes with a cigar? Only if you have a Maduro which is more on the coffee side and has not much sweetness. Because the roasted and bitter notes in this Stout are a little to strong for the sweet notes in a cigar. On the other hand if you have a full body Maduro with distinct coffee notes this Stout could help to bring them out.
The RoMa Craft Tabaco CroMagnon is a very nice cigar. Just the way I like it. Nice coffee and chocolate notes. From time to time some sweetness. Nice roasted notes and earth, wood, some leather and a little pepper. It´s more on the full body side. Filler: Nicaracua. Binder: Cameroon. Wrapper: USA

Es ist ein irisches Dry Stout
Farbe: Schwarz fast undurchsichtig mit ganz leichten Brauntönen wenn man es gegen das Licht hält.
Nase: malzig süß und 90% Schokolade, fast schon Espresso
Antrunk: wenig malz süße eher Röstaromen, leichte Hopfen Bitterkeit.
Am Gaumen: Es wird trocken, es kommen schöne starke Kaffee eher Espresso Noten durch gemischt mit 90% Schokolade. Schöne Röstaromen. Herb aber nicht zu Bitter. Leicht säuerlicher Touch. Sehr Angenehm.
Abgang: Ausgeprägte Röstarmomen mit röstigen Bitternoten, leichte säuerliche Noten. Es bleiben mehr Bitternoten wie im Antrunk. Ein Hauch mehr Körper würde ich mir wünschen.
Fazit: Ein lecker Stout mit schönen Röstaromen und angenehmer Bitterkeit. Ich fand es sehr lecker.
Passt es zur Zigarre? Bedingt. Vielleicht zu einer Maduro die wenig süße hat. Denn die Röstaromen und Bitternoten würden sonst die Süße überlagern. Wenn man aber eine ehr Kaffee lastige Zigarre mit wenig süße hat dann unterstreichen die Kaffeenoten noch etwas die Zigarre.
Die RoMa Craft Tabaco CroMagnon ist eine hervorragende Zigarre. Genau so wie ich es mag. Schöne Kaffee und Schokoladen Noten. Immer wieder etwas süße. Schöne Röstaromen und Erde, Holz, etwas Leder sowie etwas Pfeffer. Schon auf der kräftigen Seite. Einlage: Nicaragua. Umblatt: Cameroon. Deckblatt: USA
