The Maple Walnut Stout is a recipe from Bierfabrik Berlin and Spent Brewers Collective brewed in Berlin

Color: Black with a very light brown note (if you hold the beer against a light)
Nose: Nut, rye bread, roasted malt, dark chocolate, a little sweetness, and a hint of Walnut
First Sip: smooth, Espresso rye, malt. Wowww
Mouth: Nut, a little sweetness, a little bitter but with the sweetness it is a round beer. Dark chocolate(60%-70%), Espresso, mhh smooth/creamy. You can´t feel the 7,8%
At the End: with every sip the beer gets a little sweeter but holds the tangy note of a Stout. A little Walnut, roasted motes, a very little sour touch. A round and smooth Stout. YUMMY

Conclusion: If a chocolate Stout is to sweet for you and a classic Stout to harsh you should try this one. I liked it a lot. A shame that I only had one bottle. Very Yummy beer.

This beer and a Cigar? Oh yes. Perfect with a Maduro Cigar or a medium to full body one.

Das Maple Walnut Stout ist nach einem Gemeinschaftsrezept von der Bierfabrik Berlin und der Spent Brewers Collective in Berlin gebrautes Bier.

Farbe: Schwarz mit minimalen braun Tönen (wenn gegen das Licht gehalten)
Nase: Roggenbrot, Röstmalz, dunkle Schokolade, leichte süße, ein Hauch Walnuß
Antrunk: weich, Espresso, Roggen, Malz. Wowwwwww
Am Gaumen: Nuss, leichte Süße, leichte Bitterkeit aber mit der leichten Süße sehr rund, dunkle Schokolade (60%-70%), Espresso, mhh schön weich/cremig. Die 7,8% sind nicht zu merken.
Abgang: mit jeden Schluck wird es süßer verliert aber nicht den herben Grundton eines Stout. Man erkennt Walnuss. Röstaromen. Ganz leichter säuerlicher Ton ist war zu nehmen. Sehr rund und weich. LECKER.

Fazit: Wem ein chocolate Stout zu süß und ein classic Stout zu herb ist sollte dieses mal testen. Ich fand es sehr rund und angenehm. Schade das ich nur eine Flasche hatte. Sehr sehr lecker das Bier.
Passt dieses Bier zur Zigarre? Oh ja. Zu einer Maduro Zigarre perfekt. Aber auch zu mittelkräftigen bis kräftigen/würzigen Zigarre.
