A review with my friends from the Cigar Eagles Bavaria.

Color: amber or gold yellow and cloudy
Nose: Banana and for a change you have a lot of tropical fruit – something between pineapple and citrus, I also like to say some passion fruit
First Sip: creamy, Banana and some other fruit, very pleasant and different to other Weissbier
Mouth: you can taste same malt it´s a little like dark bread, a little caramel or toffee, also some had some coffee. The hop is discreet but ever-present. The yeast is well present but very pleasant. A lot of Fruit - a mix from Banana and other fruit. Wow this Weissbier is different. It is a very nice feeling drinking this beer. Full-body and on the other side smooth. Brilliant
At the End: Malt, Hop and Yeast are very well balanced. At the beginning it´s more malt and yeast and a little latter the hop which stays on your tongue. Also with the Hop and yeast you have this sweetness you have with most Weissbier.

Conclusion: A great Weissbier. It is so different to all the standard Weissbier from the big breweries. And yes I want more of this one.

This beer with a cigar? Oh YES. I would say to every cigar. Even the very mild ones.


Test of the D8 from Vegas de Santiago. It is a wonderful mild to medium cigar. Great

The Filler is from the Dom.Rep., Peru and Costa Rica, Binder and Wrapper from Ecuador. The Wrapper is a Habano 2000. Workmanship: Perfect! Smell: Cedar wood and a little Coffee. Draw: 3 Tester and 3x Perfect Burnup: Nearly perfect – 2x of us we had to correct the burn once. Taste: Creamy, nutty, a little earthly, a little coffee, a very little sweetness. The first and the second third have nearly the same taste but far away of being boring. I ask myself “do I smoke a cuban cigar”? Very yummy. No the third part and it starts to get a bit of stronger flavor. A little spices and some pepper, earth and leather. I love pepper. TOP! We all smoked the cigar to the very end. Nearly burning the finger J

Ein Test mit Freunden von den Cigar Eagles Bavaria.

Farbe: Goldgelb oder Bernstein und trüb, der Schaum hält sehr lange
Nase: Banane und echt mal richtig anders auch sehr viel Südfrucht irgendwas zwischen Ananas oder Citrus, ich mag sogar etwas Maracuja zu vernehmen.
Antrunk: cremig, Banane, etwas andere Frucht, sehr angenehm und anders wie sonst ein Weißbier
Am Gaumen: Malz ist vorhanden aber eher schwach nach dunklem Brot, etwas Karamell oder Toffee, auch Kaffee wurde geschmeckt. Der Hopfen ist dezent aber doch wahr zu nehmen. Die Hefe merkt recht stark aber auch hier angenehm. Viel Frucht- ein Mix aus Banane und anderen Früchten. Wow es ist einfach anders. Es ist ein super Trinkgefühl- Vollmundig und doch süffig. Genial
Abgang: Malz, Hopfen und Hefe perfekt ausbalanciert. Am Anfang eher Malz und Hefe, später dann der Hopfen. Am Anfang schöne Süße eines Weißbier dann kommt der Hopfen etwas stärker durch. Sehr sehr angenehm.

Fazit: Ein super geniales Weißbier. Einfach weil so komplett aus der Massenware heraus sticht. Es macht einfach Lust auf mehr.

Passt das Bier zur Zigarre? Ohh ja und ich würde sagen zu jeder Zigarre.

Test D8: Gleich mal vorweg. Es ist eine wunderbare milde bis medium Zigarre.

Die Einlage Tabak kommt aus der Dom Rep., Peru und Costa Rica, Umblatt und Deckblatt aus Ecuador wobei das Deckblatt ein Habano 2000 ist. Verarbeitung: Absolut einwandfrei!! Geruch: Zedernholz und etwas Kaffee. Zug: 3 Tester = 3xPerfekt. Nicht zu stark nicht zu leicht. Abbrand: Nahezu perfekt - 2 mußten einmal nachzünden. Geschmack: Cremig, Nussig, etwas Erde, etwas Kaffee, minimale süße. Erste und zweite drittel recht gleichbleibend ohne auch nur annähernd langweil zu sein. Rauche ich gerade eine kubanische Zigarre?? Sau lecker. Jetzt nimmt sie etwas an fahrt auf. Wird etwas würziger und bekommt schönen aber angenehmen Pfeffer, Erde, Leder. TOP! Wir haben die Zigarre bis zum Ende geraucht, da sie auch auf die letzten cm. Nicht unangenehm wurde. Eine Zigarre die man auf alle Fälle probieren sollte.
