Maisel & Friends „Choco Porter“ and a new cigar coming up

Maisel & Friends „Choco Porter“ 6,5% vol.
A New Cigar from a well known Cigar Manufacturer coming out in Mai.

Color: nice dark brown
Nose: YES the nose promises what it says on the Bottle. Dark chocolate (60%), Espresso, sweetish roasted malt, caramel.
First Sip: sparkling/fizzy, straight away you get all the flavours from the nose to your tongue. Malty sweetish, Espresso, caramel, Vanilla, a Mix of milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Absolutely great.
Mouth: nice carbon acid, maybe a little more as in some other Porter and that way you have the feeling of a medium body beer but the tast is full-flavored and the taste is like like the nose and the first sip.
At the End: Wonderful roasted sweet malt with a hint of hop. This gives the beer a light dry but nice touch. And then again this wonderful chocolate and Espresso flavors.

Conclusion: A very nice Porter. Out there are more creamy and full-bodied ones, but just that this Porter is not like them makes it nearly refreshing. YES this a kind of Porter I like. A lot of flavours and not to dry. WUNDERBAR

This beer and a cigar? Yes – but not with the light ones.

Eine neue Zigarre die es ab Mai von einem bekannten Hersteller geben wird.

Farbe: schönes dunkles braun
Nase: Juhu die Nase verspricht was auf der Flasche steht. Dunkle Schokolade (60%), Espresso, süßliche Röstaromen, Karamell
Antrunk: moussierend, sofort kommen sehr schön die Aromen von der Nase auf den Gaumen. Malzig süßlich, Espresso, Karamell, Vanille, ein Mix aus Milchschokolade und Zartbitter. Sehr fein.
Am Gaumen: Schöne Kohlensäure, vielleicht etwas mehr wie andere Porter daher kommt einen der Körper auch er mittel vor aber geschmacklich schön vollmundig, wie in der Nase und im Antrunk.
Abgang: Wunderbare röstmalzige Süße dazu gesellt sich ein wenig der Hopfen. Dieser verleiht dem Bier einen leicht herben aber unaufdringlichen Touch. Dann wieder diese wunderbaren Schokoladen und Espresso Noten.

Fazit: Ein sehr schönes Porter. Es gibt cremigere und vollmundigere aber gerade das dieses Porter es nicht hat macht es fast schon erfrischend. Das mag an der Kohlensäure und dem Medium Körper liegen aber geschmacklich ein Porter nach meinem Gusto. Wunderbar.
